When we heard that La Maddalena Restaurant at a special gala in New York won the Muse Design Award statuette and the title of one of the most beautiful restaurants in the world we couldn't believe it.

La Maddalena one of the most beautiful restaurants in the world

The award at the special Muse Design Award gala in New York was given in the category of "interior design" for style, elegance and the use of very noble materials in the interiors, such as wood, natural stone and precious metals in muted colors and shades of earth, silver and cool gold, it reads in the justification.

When the phones rang, we still couldn't get out of shock. This is a great honor. A very recognized, prestigious award. However, when the statuette arrived and we have tangible proof that dreams come true, we can finally boast of this beautiful award

La Maddalena was awarded in the prestigious international Muse Design Award in New York.

But in turn. We were recognized in the category of "interior design" for style, elegance and the use of very noble materials in the interiors, such as wood, natural stone and precious metals in muted colors and shades of earth, silver and cool gold, this reads in the justification.

Representatives of the jury at the gala in New York emphasized that they awarded interiors that are stylish, modern, bold, but also consistent, in which harmony and beauty are felt. In the final showdown we competed against restaurants from Taiwan, Japan, Hong Kong, the Arab Emirates, or Canada.

We received a gold statuette. This is a tremendous honor. And an honor.

The chapter's attention was drawn to the custom-made reliefs of the walls in tones of cool platinum silver applied using the flake method, the fire-burnished oak floor and the extraordinary attention to every detail of the decor.

Jury members were impressed by the VIP room with a separate entrance and the restaurant's beautiful terrace suspended directly over the surface of the Oder River with a view of the University of Wroclaw building and the possibility of mooring a boat at the restaurant itself. The chairs, tables and glass wine cabinets were designed and made by local artisans.

In June 2019, we decided to move La Maddalena from Wlodkowica Street to the Oder River boulevards to the Marina III building located right next to the Pomeranian bridges, which are currently being restored. In our worst nightmares we never dreamed that six months later the world would be engulfed by a global coronavirus pandemic and we would be faced with the toughest fight for the restaurant's survival.

Our specialty is wild fish and seafood. Every weekend you can enjoy oysters, which we pull directly from David Herve from the port of Cancale in Brittany. The menu is enhanced by a tasting menu, a vegan menu and meats from local suppliers. High quality produce is paramount in our cuisine. It will always be that way! This award is a little to sweeten the last difficult year. We promise, we will be better
